Popular Congoleese musician, Papa Wemba, is dead.
The talented singer, reportedly collapsed while performing on stage at the Festival des Musiques Urbaines d’Anoumabo (FEMUA) – in Abidjan, Ivory Coast and instantly gave up the ghost before medical help could get to him.
Papa Wemba, known as the king of Rumba music, has over his many years as an artistes collavorated with ytop international stars like Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton, amongst others, before his death.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
